My mission as your photographer is not just to be there to capture your day but also to be your wedding day bestie. I will be there to tell you when something looks off, be your biggest hype woman and just try to make the process a whole lot of fun. I want to capture the real and raw emotions of your one of a kind beautiful day and celebrate the two of you through every moment of the day.
I love to cultivate a shoot that isn't just a typical stand and pose, I want to work with my couples to create photos that are special to their relationship. Something they love to do together or a date that was so special to them, or incorporating things that mean something in their relationships.
What makes me stand out? I'm here to just roll with it. Most photographers are so stressed out about getting the perfect moments that they ruin the fun of the process. Don't get me wrong I want to capture every moment but I never want to force moments that aren't there and steer you away from actually enjoying one of the most important days of your life.
I cannot remember a time in my teenage years doing something with friends or going on vacation or even just hanging out with my dog that I didn’t want to remember. Photography has been so important to me before I even had a camera that could even take good photos. Its about the fact that I could take moments, even the simplest ones and capture them in time and hold on to them forever.
To look back at those photos and be able to hear the music that was playing or laugh at the joke that was being told in that moment or to again feel the joy that was carried throughout that moment, it was so special. Because photos hold such a high value to me in holding on to memories, it became something I wanted to be good at, to create a craft in. Getting into weddings was so special because it is one of the best days of your life, and to be able to give a couple the beautiful memories in the form of a photo that they can hold onto for the rest of their lives, they get to share with friends and family and even their future families, it’s an experience that is truly honoring. I love being a photographer cause I understand the importance of holding on to memories that are so dear that you would never want to forget.
